Hunter Adams
Chief Executive Officer
Hunter Adams has a Master’s in Business Administration from WGU. The most valuable thing he learned during his education was to view every situation as a problem that needs to be solved. His favorite hobby is playing basketball, baseball, pickleball, and volleyball. Hunter is married with one child and a toy poodle. He is passionate about family, health, and education. A fun fact about Hunter is that he had a traumatic brain injury when he was 16 that led to his passion for healthcare. -
Dr. Benjamin Williams, DO
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Benjamin Williams is Creek Valley Health Clinic's, Chief Medical Officer. A local to Colorado City, AZ, Dr. Williams started his Family Physician journey at Mohave Community College and finished his education at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He has deeply appreciated the high-quality people he met, learned from, and worked alongside throughout his education and medical practice. Dr. Williams is married with four children, three cats, and one golden retriever. Mountain biking with friends and family is his therapy, and he is very passionate about a quality cup of coffee. Dr. Williams loves to serve as a Family Doctor for the community he grew up in, and he's always bragging about being three-quarters Canadian. -
Jeff Huyboom
Chief Financial Officer
Jeff Huyboom is the CFO at Creek Valley Health Clinic. He received his Accounting Degree from California State University and was drawn to the healthcare field to make a difference in others’ lives. Jeff learned that education had given him more significant opportunities than he would have received otherwise throughout his career. Jeff enjoys mountain biking and volunteering at Boy Scouts of America and the Mountain-Biking Club to build and maintain trails in his free time. Jeff is passionate about doing the right thing and making a difference. -
JoAnne Zitting
Director of Quality and Compliance
JoAnne has a Master’s of Business Administration, Health Care Management and desires to serve and build the community she lives in. She loves adventuring in her jeep, spending time with loved ones, and reading on her days off. She is married and has a daughter and a baby boy on the way. She volunteers at the local academy teaching Algebra Two and has a deep bond with her family. JoAnne’s most valuable lesson from her education is: “The time that it takes to finish your degree will pass by anyway. So muster up whatever grit you need, soak up the learning experience, and make the sacrifices to get through your schooling. You will never regret it, and you’ll be finished before you know it. “ -
Joanne Yarrish, CNM, FNP
Family Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Midwife
Joanne Yarrish is a Certified Nurse Midwife and Family Nurse Practitioner at Creek Valley. She believes education is essential to being a well-rounded person. Joanne has traveled worldwide, and her favorite places have been Egypt and Istanbul. Her favorite hobby is golf. She has two children, one cat, one dog, and is newly married. Joanne is passionate about providing high-quality prenatal care and helping women over 40 live healthier lives. A fun fact about Joanne is that she has delivered over 1,000 babies! -
Nathan Barlow, PA-C
Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C)
Nathan Barlow was born and raised in the Short Creek area. He is a Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) at Creek Valley and felt like healthcare has been a calling since childhood. Nathan has three children, one dog, and a wife of nine years. His favorite hobbies are photography and mountain biking. He was a volunteer firefighter for ten years and believes we are all more alike than we are different. A fun fact about Nathan is that he took many photos hanging throughout the clinic. -
Ari Mendez, LCSW
Licensed Behaviorist
Ari Mendez was born in Guatemala and now resides in Utah. He is a behavioral therapist at Creek Valley and is very passionate about mental and physical health. Ari has five children and loves traveling, reading, and hiking. A fun fact about Ari is that he joined the swim team upon arriving in the U.S. as a high school senior. At the end of the season, he was awarded the ‘Most Inspirational Swimmer award. Ari received this recognition not because he was a good swimmer but because he never gave up trying to improve. -
Sue Wilkey, DNP, RN
Clinical Consultant
Sue Wilkey has a doctorate in nursing. The greatest lesson in her education is that learning is up to the individual. She loves to bake and garden. Sue is married with four children and five grandchildren. A fun fact about Sue is that she lifts weight twice a week but can’t figure out how to do a clean correctly. -
Sharon Greene
Billing Manager
Sharon Green was born in Texas but now resides in Utah. Her favorite hobby is traveling, and she is passionate about the Cowboys Football team. She is married with three children and one toy poodle. A fun fact about Sharon is that she rides a Harley and was president of a woman’s motorcycle club. -
Maria Aguiar
Medical Assistant Supervisor
Maria Aguiar said the most valuable thing she has learned in her educational career is to always work hard to reach your goals. She loves the outdoors, spending time with her family, and visiting Mexico to see her family. She is married with two daughters and enjoys karaoke with her family. Maria is very passionate about enjoying every moment and living life to the fullest. -
Mardi Holm
Front Office Supervisor
Mardi Holm has a degree in Healthcare Management and was drawn to healthcare because she loves being able to help people have a remarkable healthcare experience. Her favorite hobby is playing sports and being outdoors. Mardi has four children and two cats. She is passionate about her family, her job, and showing kindness to all. Mardi is very involved with her community by volunteering to coach community sport and helping with community events. -
Mary Darger
Medical Assistant
After watching her sister become an RN, Mary Darger was drawn to healthcare and was inspired to follow the same path. The most valuable lesson she has learned in her educational career is that persistence pays off and that if you want something bad enough, you will go for it. Mary has two children, chickens, a cat, and a hamster, and she is passionate about making the world better for humans, especially her children. -
Sue Naylor
Medical Assistant
Susan Naylor has completed her undergraduate at Mohave Community College and is now attending Dixie State University. She was drawn to healthcare because she wanted to help others after watching the healthcare workers help her dad with brain cancer. Susan loves spending quality time outdoors with her family. She is passionate about serving others and believes if you put your mind to something, you can accomplish it. A fun fact about Susan is that she started college at the age of 16 and is working to become a nurse. -
Roselie Crooks
Patient Service Representative
Roselie Crooks was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, and lives in Hildale, Utah. She has gone to college at MCC and wants to continue her education, particularly becoming an ultrasound technician. The best thing she has learned in her education is not to give up. Roselie has two children and three dogs. Her favorite hobby is volleyball, and she is passionate about her kids and her work. -
Krista Holm
Patient Service Representative
Krista Holm is very interested in how the human body works. She is currently in school pursuing a career in Physical Therapy. She has volunteered at St. George Rehab in the therapy department. She enjoys playing volleyball and hanging out with her family in her free time. Krista has a feisty golden retriever and shih tzu. The most valuable lesson from her education has been learning not to give up even when she has 14 exams in 2 days. -
Sandy Taylor
Care Coordinator and Case Manager
Sandra Taylor was born in California and now lives in Utah. She is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and is currently working on an MSW from the University of Utah. She was drawn to healthcare after watching the physical decline of her mother with dementia. She wanted to understand the illness and became passionate about increasing her healthcare industry knowledge. She has four sons, a husband, a dog, and a family salamander. Sandra volunteers at her community church and loves spending time with her sons. She enjoys getting out in nature, gardening and likes painting wooden crafts. A fun fact about Sandra is that she is bilingual in English and Spanish and has been published in the DSU Institute for Social Research as part of a research team at DSU. The most valuable lesson she has learned is, “Our mental health feeds one’s physical health. Every person deserves respect and compassion, and every person should have the most up-to-date medical information to make the best-informed decision for themselves. “ -
Christel Barlow
Custodial and Maintenance
Christel Barlow was born and raised in Hildale, Utah. She was drawn to healthcare because of the friendly environment and the opportunity to help others. The best lesson she ever learned throughout her life is that education never ends. She has been married for 37 years and has had 12 children. Christel’s favorite pastime is sewing, and she is passionate about her kid’s mental health. A fun fact about Christel is that she has 31 siblings.
