CHIP Eligibility: Children's Health Insurance Program covers children age 18 or younger (up to age 20 in some cases), pregnant women of any age, and U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. Any adult living more than half the time with an uninsured child may apply, including parents, grandparents, other relatives, or guardians.
